The Old Knitting Mill
This historic building was a knitting mill for over a century.
It is right across the canal from where you board our boat to
start
your tour.

Old Historic Richmond Acqueduct
This, interestingly enough, is where the original Erie Canal flowed
over the Seneca Riverl!
The Canal does not intersect with normal waterways.
Coast Guard
The Coast Guard is not far distant, and is still monitoring the canal
as a
navigable waterway.
Interesting Boats Still Around
This is a coal fired, steam powered boat, called the African Queen.
